About

Engineer, builder, occasional hackathon menace.

I'm Lingampally Shravan Kumar — a software engineer based in Hyderabad who likes owning problems all the way through. Give me a blank repo and a fuzzy product brief, and I'll turn it into APIs, data models, a UI people can use, and something that survives real traffic.

At ASBL I work on a real estate community platform and the ASBL Lens mobile app. That means Node.js and TypeScript services, MongoDB schemas, Redis, OpenSearch, AWS, cron jobs, and the unglamorous work of making pages load in ~1s instead of 5. I also built Lens from scratch with Expo — offline support, deep links, dashboards, OTA updates — for field sales teams who don't get to wait on perfect network conditions.

Before that I designed and shipped a SaaS product solo at KnitNexus (Postgres, Next.js, RBAC, the whole loop), and I've spent nights in hackathons building things that somehow won — EduBlockaThon (1st, $1,000) and AI for India (Grand Prize, $500). MeetPoint, LinkFree, and HireFlow are the same pattern: pick a hard problem, ship a working system, learn in public.

I care about clean data models, boring-reliable backends, and performance you can feel. When I'm not shipping, I'm usually on LeetCode, poking at infra, or writing down what broke so I don't forget.

I build backends, ship products, and write about the systems I touch — from APIs and databases to the production incidents that teach you what actually matters.
